Top Tips for Living in an NYC Luxury Condominium

One of the many great things about living in an NYC luxury condominium is the tight-knit community. You can talk to people over coffee or at the gym who like the same things you do. Finding the right balance between personal space and social interaction is vital to keeping a community peaceful. Other people value their space as much as you do, and if you need to talk to someone, your neighbors are only a knock away.

Talking to Neighbors

Saying hello to each other in the hallway is nice, but sometimes, just leaving things alone is fine and even welcome. Some of your neighbors, or even you, may want to keep social interactions to a minimum because that’s how they like it. That’s fine, and everyone should accept that.

That being said, test the water and be careful. It’s best not to start long talks with people who look like they are in a hurry or to ask personal questions in the hallway that other people might hear. Because it’s a small community, don’t be drawn to talk about other people. You don’t want to be the center of attention; your friends may not like that either.

Be Respectful of Common Area

Living in an NYC luxury condominium at a place such as 35 Hudson Yards means access to lots of amenities. One of your duties as a condo renter is to be polite when you use the shared facilities and public areas. Make sure to clean up as you go, and don’t do anything that isn’t important in these areas so you don’t bother other people. Since hallways and passageways are shared spaces, you shouldn’t leave anything there, especially shoes and slippers.
