Man Made Snow
Instant Snow can be produced in a variety of ways. There are snow generators that will produce imitation snowflakes that can be blown up into the air to mimic falling snow. However, these fake snowflakes evaporate on contact with the ground so they will not leave you with a “snow scene”.
Other forms of Instant Snow are for placing straight onto the ground. A more genuine effect can be achieved with Instant Snow that is generated by adding water to a polymer-based powder. The powder immediately swells up into individual “pieces” of snow – not like the white foam that some people use to create fake, sloppy wet snow that does not last very long and can make anyone playing in it very wet very quickly.
Longer Lasting Imitation Snow
If you are setting up a “White Christmas” theme for a commercial center or generating Instant Snow for the kids to play in for an hour or so as a feature of a birthday party; you will not want your snow to disappear within minutes. Providing a long life is a big selling feature of the polymeric powder type of Instant Snow. Furthermore, you simply add water and you do not need a special machine.
